Roatan Airport Information
Roatans airport is near Coxen Hole. Upon departure, there
is a Honduran departure fee of around $34, which
includes security and immigration fees.
The ride from the airport to Castaways Cove is
approximately 25 minutes.
The Galaxy Wave ferry travels between Roatan and La Ceiba,
the closest city on the Honduras mainland, some 30 miles away.
This high speed catamaran ferry takes about 1 hour and
15 minutes for this journey. The ferry has an
air-conditioned seating area downstairs, an upstairs
first class cabin and outside seating.
The ferry schedule and fares are subject to change without notice (and they usually do!).
The ferry fare is around $25 for adults.
